One of the world's greatest singers, Irish Bono of U2, will now work with Danish design company Vipp, known for its design pedal bins.
Danish design company Vipp and Danish supermodel Helena Christensen join forces in raising money for children affected by the Chernobyl disaster, and for the poor of New York City.
The world-famous Vipp bin is now being followed by a brand new bathroom series designed in the Vipp Design Lab. The idea has been to create a sense of unity in the bathroom with a series which, like the other Vipp products, is based on classic aesthetic simplicity, stringent lines, soft edges and durable materials.
Vipp is proud to present the colour of the year, Purple Cut - a series of classic Vipp products in a new, vibrant colour. The collection will be available from February 2008 in leading design shops.

Vipp is proud to present a new office line. The series was designed by Vipp's founder, Holger Nielsen, back in 1985, and has never before been in production.
In April 2006 the Carrousel du Louvre has devoted one of its exhibition rooms to Vipp. Following this, the exhibition will travel to selected lifestyle shops and museums in Europe.
Portuguese and European designers decorated Danish Vipp bins. The decorated bins were auctioned away for charity at a glamorous event in May 2006.
